Simpsons Premium Dog Food
 
One of our own boxers suffers from Pancreatitis and our Vet was convinced that it was food orientated.
After trying many different foods, we were recommended to try Simpsons. The food is Grain Free and
100% human grade and our Milo has been on this food for over 9 years with no more signs of his Pancreatitis.

    or that we do not have any spare space for them to stay with us.
 
    Thames Valley Boxer Rescue is run solely by ourselves and voluntarily in our own time from our home.
 
    We do not have any staff working for us so because we always try to vet all of our homes prior to any adoptions ourselves, we are not always
    available to answer the many phone calls that we receive.

   TVBR is run by Jackie Drew as co-ordinator who has been re-homing dogs for over 45 years whilst the admin side is looked after by her partner who also   
   keeps the website up to date.
  
   Although based near Swindon in Wiltshire, we will home our rescued boxers in any area if it means that we can match the right dog with the right home
   we have done all of the necessary home checks which we do normally try do ourselves.
  
   The rescue is run on a totally voluntary basis by Jackie and Pete and funded purely by donations and by our own fundraising, e.g, car boots and         
   tombola’s etc because without these donations, we would not be able to help other boxers that may be in need.
  
   As you may know, moving into a new home can be a very stressful time but for an animal, it is even more so because they don't know what's happening
   to them.
  
   To try and ease this stress, we always move our boxers during daylight hours to allow them time to familiarise themselves quickly with their new      
   surroundings.
  
   We advise all new owners to give their new boxer several days to settle into the home before meeting other family members or friends and we do stress   
   that it is most important that they do not let them off the lead until they have had the time to know the sound of your voice.
  
   We do urge you to please look at our information sheets about ALABAMA ROT and BLOAT and especially the email at the bottom of the "BLOAT" sheet 
   that proves that just a couple of minutes read and having the knowledge about “BLOAT” could save your pets life!

    This is MADDIE who turned 5 years old in May of this year.


 

    She has no real issues, is up to date with her vaccinations and is in need of a new forever loving home.


 

    MADDIE has never lived with any small children so she may be better off with any children over 10 or on a one to one with someone who would work


    with her.


 

    She will sit with you when she wants to and although she does tend to pull a little on the lead, she is obedient when she is off the lead.
